Chemistry is the latest in a long line of rap duos to try and parlay underground buzz into nationwide success. Rather than rapping about drug dealing or gang violence, D & SIF have made it their mission to bring the crowd-pleasing, old-school flavor back to hip-hop. On a single off their forthcoming debut album, Straight to the Moon, Chemistry take a trip down to the local club, where they hope to see the ladies Get Down to Frankie P‘s house-sampling beat. One thing that’ll certainly attract listeners’ attention is Juelz Santana‘s guest verse, which finds him ready to swoop in and snatch up a few of these females on the spot. Already co-signed by numerous radio DJs, Get Down should lead to indie success, major airplay, and a bidding war for this up-and-coming duo.
